My opinion on marijuana and sextual morality..

The Devil is such a liar. He wants to help us rationalize and justify sinning against God, acting like it’s the right thing to do. It also goes for people who try and use the Bible to try to justify many other sinful things, such as smoking weed. Taking verses out of context, stating a verse means one thing when it clearly means another, and making assumptions the Word does not support are all tricks the enemy will use to try to justify smoking marijuana.

*A study indicates that a marijuana users risk of heart attack more than quadruples in the first hour after smoking marijuana.

*the plant from which marijuana is derived, contains compounds that can damage DNA and increase the risk of cancer just like tobacco smoke.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

*marijuana use results in loss of control over thought and action, and transient depression and paranoia.

The bible ALSO CLEARLY states :
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” (1 Peter 5:8).”

“Woe to you who make your neighbors drink, who mix in your venom even to make them drunk so as to look on their nakedness!” (Habakkuk 2:15). The reference to “mix in your venom” is the ancient practice of adding herbs (or drugs) to wine to make its intoxicating effects more potent.

Although many people may be deceived by such practices, God is not deceived. He will not be mocked (Galatians 6:7).

About sexual moralities…

You know it clearly states in Ephesians 5:3 “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity…because these are improper for God’s holy people.” Anything that even “hints” of sexual immorality is inappropriate for a Christian.

“But whoever has doubts is condemned if they eat, because their eating is not from faith; and everything that does not come from faith is sin” (Romans 14:23).

An unmarried relationship shouldn’t do things that will bring them towards temptation, toward sex. As a Christian, a couple to not go beyond holding hands, hugging, and light kissing before marriage. In the end, the wait will be worth it.

Hebrews 13:4
“Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.”

“Let’s say I’m a very promiscuous youth right and I hear God come and say “Do not commence sexual morality, flee it. Don’t have sex until you’re married” If I don’t believe God loves me, what I hear is “I’m trying to ruin your good time. Stop having a good time” but if I believe God loves me, I hear “I love you. I want what’s best for you. I’m protecting you from yourself.”

I never understood why some people are about being promiscuous and take sex before marriage lightly. Like it’s no big deal… And all those pot smoking people, who do the things they do.
I now realize they think God is trying to ruin their good time and that he doesn’t love them!

I’m sooo glad I know God loves me! And He loves YOU too! :) :)
